Brookwood Hills
Brookwood Hills is located just north of Midtown, bordered by Peachtree Street on the west and I-85 on the south.
Brookwood Hills was developed in the early 1920s primarily by Benjamin Franklin Burdett and son and was developed in four distinct phases, evident in the architecture which homes built in each phase reflect. The earliest two phases of development consist of bungalows and Tudor, Georgian, and Colonial style homes. The third phase has smaller houses reflecting tastes during the Depression and the period following World War II. Traditional two-story homes were added in the fourth phase during the 1960's.
