Centennial Park
Centennial Park is situated in Downtown Atlanta and is bordered by Castleberry Hill.
Centennial Park was originally built for the 1996 Olympic Games but since the Olympics, the area surrounding it has been the target of numerous condo development projects. The completion of the Georgia Aquarium and the announcement that Coca-Cola would be moving its museum to the area only fueled the developments. While living in the area was once unheard of, people flock to the area now to be close to major attractions, entertainment, and easy access to Marta. The park offers a space for residents kick back and enjoy themselves, walk their pets, or attend one of the many concerts, festivals or cultural events that take place in the park year-round.
