Edgewood
Edgewood is located just south of Little Five Points and north of East Atlanta. Its boundaires include La France Street on the north, Arizona Avenue on the east, Interstate 20 on the south, and Moreland Avenue on the west.
Edgewood is a residential area that in recent years has experienced a revitalization. The area contains many older bungalows but investors have also started tearing down existing homes and building new construction as the cost of land continues to rise. The revitalization can be attributed to Edgewood's close proximity to Downtown and also the addition of a 44-acre retail district. Developed by Sembler Company, the retail district provided a much needed grocery store and restaurants for the area.
