Lake Claire
Lake Claire is located in Dekalb County within the City of Atlanta. It lies north of Kirkwood, west of Decatur, south of Druid Hills and east of Candler Park.
Surprisingly, you will not find a body of water named Lake Claire in Atlanta. You will however find a small neighborhood composed of post-Victorian style homes. Other housing styles found in the area include Craftsman-style bungalows, 50's cottages, and modern designs. The name Lake Claire is derived from the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Claire Drive. Lakeshore Drive was named after the now-dry Lake Ponceana.
