Peachtree Park
From active community members to diverse architectural styles to pedestrian-friendly streets, this Buckhead neighborhood seems to have it all.
Peachtree Park features deep, wooded lots along its thirteen winding streets. Because this community does not include any 'cut-through' streets, residents are likely to see plenty of neighbors jogging, walking their dogs, and strolling along the idyllic lanes.
Peachtree Park, primarily comprised of single-family homes, boasts a large variety of architectural styles and materials. Stylistic influences include Colonial Revival, Craftsman, and English Vernacular Revival, which can be found in cottages, bungalows, American Small Houses, and ranches. Within these various styles, residents are able to find exteriors made from brick, stone, and wood. Some lots that previously held small, historical homes from the early to mid-part of the 20th century have been replaced by larger, more modern houses.
In the spring of 2008, the Peachtree Highlands-Peachtree Park Historic District was listed in the National Register. This area lies between Piedmont Road, Peachtree Road, Georgia 400, and the MARTA north-south rapid transit line.
