The original homes of Pine Hills were built in the mid-1950s; however, many of these mid-century homes have been renovated or rebuilt to accommodate the tastes of today's families.

Pine Hills is one of the few swim-tennis communities in Intown North Atlanta. Residents enjoy a strong sense of community that this resource brings to the neighborhood almost as much as they enjoy the tennis courts and the swimming pool.

One note for families with children: this neighborhood straddles the county lines of Dekalb and Fulton, so there are two different districts for children living in Pine Hills. Parents are advised to research the different school options and understand where their home is districted.

Pine Hills is located on the north side of the city, bordered by Lenox, West Roxboro and Peachtree roads.
