Reynoldstown
Reynoldstown is located between the Cabbagetown and Edgewood, just south of the CSX rail line.
Reynoldstown was originally settled after the American Civil War mainly by freed slaves who were employed by the railroad. Reynoldstown has an array of many different home styles including an entire block of double shotgun houses on Chester Avenue. Reyonldstown oficially became part of Atlanta is 1909. Many of the houses in the area are 1930s- 1940s bungalows.
